Severe thunderstorm outbreak likely late Thursday, July 26.

Hot and dry conditions are expected to continue for the rest of July.

There are no signs of any major changes in the jet steam pattern which has already caused record heat in many areas and one of the worst droughts in decades.  The middle of our country has been especially hard hit with widespread corn crop failures.  Food prices are expected to climb in the months ahead.

Ten day heat wave will be here starting June 29th.

Strong thunderstorms over PA. Will head our way later this day and into the night.

Tainted weather: t'ain't high nor low nor hot nor cool and moving slowly, so , no big changes but it will warm up.

Memorial Day weekend looks hot for May 27,28,29.

There is not much more to say a hot dry summer is likely headed our way!

Checking my favorite blogger on Weatherunderground, Blizz92, he agrees with my sense that a dry above normal temperature summer regime will set in. He thinks the early summer will show this trend most strongly. An emerging El Niño may modify the late summer.

March was extraordinary.

A shot of cold air next Tues. & Wed.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be cold enough at night to cause frost damage on newly sprouted plants.  See Henry Margusity,s blog  at Accuweather.com.

This Spring is predicted to be very warm and the summer looks to be near normal in temperatures, here in the Eastern US.

The center of the USA is expected to run above normal in temperatures this summer.

FWIW,  the hurricane season may bring 1 or 2 storms to the Eastern Seaboard.  Most tropical systems are now expected to remain over open waters.

 These long range hurricane predictions have a history of huge errors, so much so, that many have given up on even attempting to prognosticate on them in the long range.

 We can say that the Atlantic Basin temperatures appear to be unfavorable for large numbers of tropical storms this season, as of now.

GFS shows snowstorm April 3rd.

I will believe it when I see it.  276 hours away!

ABC TV says snow? Oh really?

Bill Evans on ABC TV , NYC said not to put away your snow shovels just yet.  I have to check this out.

Areas like High Point and West Milford may see several inches of snow or ice but most areas will quickly turn to rain.
