Word from the early bird, is that New England gets a classic Nor'Easter, with 1 to 2 feet of snow, on the east portions. Weather Friday for New York Metro is uncertain, snow is possible.

When things change , they change in a hurry!

The storm approaches Cape Hatteras Thursday and moves to New England on Friday.  Much of New Jersey will see mostly rain, except areas north and west, which will get a snowy mix.  A very close call.

This is still very tentative, given such a slim margin between rain and snow.

From NWS, Mass. office:
" potential for a foot or more of snow..."

Epic blizzard just misses New Jersey / New York Metro?  We shall see.

***DT at Wxrisk thinks the New York Metro area could be looking at 4 to 8" snow Friday.  Possible? Yes. Rain is a big feature , for NJ,  along with coastal flooding, again.

Big rain, early next week for New Jersey is pretty certain.

****A major snow is possible around Valentine's Day! ****  Thanks to NYNJPA WEATHER. And, DT @ Wxrisk.com.
