Forecast for Monday. Sept. 17 th. a zero percent chance of rain for the 99% in Occupy Wall Street. NYC!

Occupy Wall Street has had many successes but building a sustainable mass movement has eluded them.  They are not well organized, shun leadership, abhor political involvement and their general assemblies are impressive but very slow and cumbersome.  Despite that they have been an inspiration for me.  The plutocracy that governs us must be neutralized, if we are to remain a free society with government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

September 17th. One year later.

Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number,
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.

Leslie may pass close to Bermuda this weekend and then head to Nova Scotia early next week. Still too early to say because a trough must develop over the eastern USA in order for this to happen. It is only Tuesday, after all.

Locally some heavy downpours occurred in the West Milford area.  Some further heavy rain could occur tonight and tomorrow.  Flash flooding could occur but a general, long lasting flood is not now expected.
