The Thursday snowstorm now looks like a no storm. We won't be sure until Tuesday morning though.
The ridge over the west coast is breaking down and this will give us at least a respite, from the constant arctic air and snows. Although it may still snow, it would be more on the order of a 6" snow, followed a couple of days later, by 50 degrees +. Pacific air masses will be the main feature, for at least the next couple of weeks.
