My original estimate is still good, although I would lessen the snow totals, somewhat. It looks like I-95 could be right on the rain / snow line. A typical outcome for storms tracking close to the coast with no blocking high pressure over Maine. It will warm up surprisingly Tuesday night and Wednesday.
( below is my estimate from Friday, Jan. 21st.)
Tues. snow begins, possibly heavy ( make that late )
( below is my estimate from Friday, Jan. 21st.)
Tues. snow begins, possibly heavy ( make that late )
Tues. night, snow
Wed. snow possibly mixing with or changing to rain
Wed. night, back to all snow
Thurs. snow ends before noon.
6" coastal
12" to 18" inland
Inland high elevations 24" ( snow totals probably too high )
If you take this forecast verbatim, there is a bridge in Brooklyn that I am selling.
